KS3 Art
The Art Curriculum aims to engage, inspire and challenge all students at NHLC, equipping them with the creative knowledge and skills to participate in, experiment with, invent and create their own works of art. Students will be encouraged to think creatively and critically as they investigate and evaluate a wide range of creative outcomes from the past and present to develop an understanding of the many disciplines within art, craft and design. Students will experience working with many traditional and new media, whilst developing their confidence, imagination and nurturing their self-esteem.
Students will be able to;

Students self-reflect as part of the marking strategy using diaries on a weekly basis and a RAG rating system tracks progress and is implemented by both students and staff on a termly basis.
