What kinds of special needs are provided for in this school?
At New Horizons Learning Centre all children will have been assessed prior to them joining the school, and their identified needs will be social, emotional and mental health difficulties, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as other issues that are rooted in mental health.
Some pupils may experience additional difficulties in areas such as communication and interaction, including speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), specific learning difficulties (SpLD), including dyslexia and some sensory needs.
